Day 05 - A thank you letter to someone who has changed your life
I can tell already this one’s gonna be a tough one for me. But here it goes..
This thank you letter goes out to my Grandma aka. Maw.
Maw,
You’ve been gone for a few years now, but not forgotten. I regret never being able to thank you for all the things you’ve done for me. You were the strongest woman I’ve ever known. You went through so much in your lifetime. I can honestly say, that I wouldn’t be the person I am today without ever having you in my life. You taught me so much and for that I want to thank you. I miss your 3+ phone calls per day, as much as we joked about them, I really do miss them. You had the gift of gab and you had an amazing memory. You could never be fooled and you had such a good heart. I hope someday I can at least be half the woman you were. Thank you for always being there for us, through thick and thin. Thank you for teaching me all you have over the years. And thank you for just being you. I love you and I miss you. Rest in peace, Maw. <3
